Congratulations to Carol Hess for receiving an IPEF Grant
Congratulations to Carol Hess for receiving an IPEF grant for $500 for her grant entitled “Classroom Clue Solving Escape Room”.
Her project will allow students to use critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity to solve a series of clues to break out of the classroom. It is an immersion game using a locked box, various types of locks and a series of clues that relate to a current unit of study.
The Indian Prairie Educational Foundation was established in 1988 to enrich education in District 204. The IPEF has given away more than $800,000 in grants to staff through their annual grants program. You can visit https://www.ipef204.org/grant-recipients/ to see the full list of grant recipients for the 2017-18 school year. Grants are made possible thanks to parents who contribute to the IPEF on their registration form, general donations and through the efforts of Team IPEF.
